Patricia Louise Riley, 81 of Greeley, formerly of Salida, died Oct. 3, 2006, at Fairacres Manor, Greeley.
She was born Nov. 8, 1924, in Peoria, Ill. to Herbert and Dorothy (Dickenson) McDaniel.
Mrs. Riley graduated from Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She married Dr. Theodore Riley in 1946.
She worked as a nurse in Salida at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center and at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs from 1946 until her retirement in 1995.
Mrs. Riley was a loving and care giving person who loved her family very much.
Survivors are her daughter, Phoebe Dennison of Orlando, Fla.; sons, Gregory (Cinda) Riley of Salida and Jeffery (Dianna) Riley of Greeley; six grandchildren, Sara Dennison, Jonnie Salazar, Dora Salazar, Jonas Ginther, Meghan Riley and Luke Riley and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Theodore Riley in 1978.
A private service will be held at 3 p.m. Oct. 6, 2006, at Adamson West Chapel in Greeley.
A celebration of her life will be held at 4 p.m. Oct. 6, 2006, at the home of Jeff, Dianna, Meghan, and Luke Riley, 2026 65th Ave., Greeley.
