Guest Book Juanita McCabe, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. She was born in Hennypen, Oklahoma to M.M. Churchwell and Ruth Kerr Churchwell. She was the loving daughter of step-mother Jesse Churchwell. She grew up in Norman, Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma. She was married to Willis Puckett Miller in 1934.They lived in Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. She was a Certified Business Administrator and served as Business Manager for Crown Heights Christian Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for twelve years. They moved to Amarillo, Texas in 1967, where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for Southwest Public Service. She and her husband owned and operated Elliott Office Supply Co. until her husband's death in 1978. In 1981, she married F. Clyde Lambert, a former college sweetheart and retired to Santa Fe, N.M. Mr. Lambert died in 1986. She moved to Colorado Springs in 1995 and resided at Cheyenne Mountain Retirement Community where she met and married Colonel William J. McCabe in 1996. Mr. McCabe died in 2000. She was a member of The Church of the Holy Faith in Santa Fe, N.M., Pilot International, Newcomers Club, Chapter FT of PEO, and the Country Club of Colorado. She is survived by her daughter, Sallie Maxwell of Colorado Springs, sons, Willis P. Miller Jr. and wife, Betty of Fayetteville, Arkansas, James Miller of Colorado Springs, Jerry Miller of Chicago, Illinois and brother, Bob Churchwell of Nashville, Tenn. Her Grandchildren, Robert Henderson and wife, Diane, Janice Friddle and husband, Rick, Mike Henderson. Tina Mann and husband, Darryl, Ben Miller and wife, Sarah. She is also survived by her great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at South Suburban Christian Church in Littleton, Co. for family members. Private burial will be in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
