ZABLOUDIL, Raylene Marie


Posted: Wednesday, May 30, 2012 10:51 am Raylene Marie Zabloudil, 48, of Buena Vista died May 28, 2012, at Swedish Medical Center. She was born Jan. 31, 1964, in Ord, Neb., to Ray and Beverly Zabloudil. Raylene graduated from Buena Vista High School in 1982 and University of Colorado-Colorado Springs in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She excelled at accounting and was very devoted for 23 years as a staff accountant at Don Taylor, CPA, in Buena Vista. Raylene loved quilting, crocheting, and needlework, to the extent of teaching these and many other crafting classes. She was active in the community including in the Xi Mu sorority (with over 30 years of perfect attendance) and the American Legion Auxiliary (26 years). Among her favorite events were Art in The Park and the Rocky Mountain Christmas Fair. When she started a project or activity, she always had a never-give-up attitude. Raylene doted on her three white cats, Lady, Jasmine and Domino. Raylene is survived by her parents, Ray and Beverly Zabloudil of Buena Vista; brother Darren (Diane) Zabloudil, of Tipton, Iowa; nieces Heidi Zabloudil of Rifle and Brianna Mueller of Tipton, Iowa; and nephew Drake Zabloudil of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Viewing will be Wednesday, May 30, from 6-8 p.m. at Runyan Mortuary. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 31, at 10 a.m. at Congregational United Church of Christ, with interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Buena Vista.
