BOYER, Connie Lou

Connie Lou Boyer, Penrose, died May 22, 2012, at St. Thomas More Hospital in Cañon City. She was born April 1, 1943, in Del Norte to T.C. and Ruth Alexander. She meet her husband, Jerry Boyer, in Saguache, where she was raised. Mrs. Boyer worked for Buena Vista School District R-31 in the Buena Vista High School cafeteria and also was a homemaker. She enjoyed working at the school and being around family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Boyer; her father; and a son, Tommy Boyer. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Alexander; a brother, Gary Alexander; and children Jeanine, Timothy, Shalene Hart, Nathan and Aaron Boyer. Connie is also survived by numerous grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. June 23, 2012 in Saguache, at the Methodist church. 2012
