JENSEN, Nancy Sue

Nancy Sue Jensen, 74, of Buena Vista and Ely, Nev., died June 12, 2012, at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood. She was born April 23, 1938, in Splint, Ky., to Steve and Margaret Hall. The family moved to Ruth, Nev., in 1953. She married James Pratt in 1956. They later divorced. They had one son, Darrell. She married Allen Jensen in 1964. Beginning in 1967, she and her son moved to various states and Canada with her husband, who was in the mining business. Mrs. Jensen and her husband moved to Ely in 1985. He died in 1993. Mrs. Jensen collected musical figurines and enjoyed working crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Bob “Wayne” Hall. Survivors include her son and granddaughter, Jennifer Pratt, both of Buena Vista; brothers Jerry Hall of Ely and Carl Hall of Reno, Nev.; sisters, Barbara Ellis and Mary Ingle, both of Ely; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services were set for June 21, 2012, at Ely City Cemetery in Ely. Arrangements are through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home, Salida. Online condolences may be offered at lewisandglenn.com. 2012
