AMSBERRY, Jane

Jane Amsberry, 82, of Leadville, passed away at her son's home in Las Vegas, Nev., on Jan. 26, of natural causes. Amsberry worked as a waitress at the Prospector Inn for many years. She also worked at Wild Bill's as a cook until her retirement. She attended the Catholic church. Survivors include three sons, Terry (Sandy), of Grand Junction, Mike (Annie), of Las Vegas, and Steve (Judy) of Colorado Springs; sister Berenice Caress of Stratton, Neb.; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, and oldest son, Tom. Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service is to be held in Benkleman, Neb., in early spring. 2012
