Greeley Tribune (Greeley, Weld County) Sep 11, 1902 Page 3 DEATHS Mrs. Mabel Brookheart Mabel, wife of Samuel Brookheart and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Morris, passed away Friday, consumption being the cause of death. She had been ill for a year, but the last two weeks she was confined to her room. The funeral was held from the home place Saturday afternoon. The Rev. R. J. Hunter officiated and preached a touching sermon in which he extolled her many virtues. Mrs. Mabel Brookheart possessed a lovable disposition. She was but a few months past her nineteenth birthday and the world was very beautiful and dear to her. But she carried her burden with a such angelic resignation and hope as to deprive that dread visitor of all horror. In her demise the widowed husband and anquished parents have the sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends and neighbors.
