DAVIS, Dr. Howard Garrett

Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County) Sep 9, 1904 DIED DAVIS--In Longmont, Thursday, September 1, 1904, of consumption, Dr. Howard Garrett Davis, aged 28 years. Dr. Davis was a dentist by profession, and has done some work in Longmont in that line. He came to Longmont about four years ago for lung trouble, and appeared to get along very well. Once he went to Arizona and once to Middle Park hoping for improvement, but his weakness of the lungs ended in hemorrhage. He recently attempted to do business in the livery line with Harry Tallman and broke down very soon after. Dr. Davis had a very pleasant way with him which made him many friends who sincerely regret his early death. Honorable and true, kind and considerate, he leaves a good record, for it was a pleasure to know him. His mother was with him through his sickness and after funeral services Saturday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Jas. McLaughlin, accompanied the remains to Emporia, Kas. F. R.Shaw & Co. embalmed the body.
