Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County) Jun 9, 1905 Page 1 DIED COLOPY--In Longmont, on Thursday, June 8, 1905, of consumption, following pneumonia, Ed Colopy, aged 23 years. This young man arrived in Longmont, Tuesday, after having made a trip to Salt Lake City from Coshocton, Ohio. He was seeking his father’s friend, W. W. Bostwick, Mr. Bostwick found him in a low state, and had him taken to the Longmont hospital. He was Catholic in faith, and Father Nicholas was called, when they had compared notes it was found that Father Nicholas was a cousin of the boy’s mother. An abscess on his lungs must have broke Thursday, and he quietly passed away about 2 o’clock p.m.
