Mrs. Jane Gregg Nearly Ninety-nine
R.F. Coffin received a telegram Monday, announcing the death of Mrs. Jane Gregg, Mrs. Coffins’s step-mother, as well as the step-mother of W. Y. Gregg and Chas. Gregg, all of Longmont. Mrs. Gregg would have reached the age of ninety-nine years if she had lived until next July. She passed away at Palmer, Neb.
Mrs. Gregg was also the step-great grandmother of Mrs. Spangler’s sons, the oldest of whom is 26 years.
Mrs. Gregg was the widow of the late Silas Gregg, whom the oldtimers will well remember. He passed away in Longmont in 1897, soon after which Mrs. Gregg moved to Nebraska. Mr. and Mrs. Silas Gregg lived in Longmont for a good many years.
