Smith Mrs. Jessie Davies arrived from Chula Vista, California, Saturday afternoon, accompanying the body of her mother, Mrs. Susan J. Smith. The old lady was 79 years of age. Mrs. Davies was formerly Miss Jessie Smith, and she was principal of the Bryant School of Longmont about seventeen years ago. Mrs. Smith was the stepmother of George E. Smith of Longmont. Funeral service was held at the cemetery Sunday, the regular funeral having been observed at Chula Vista.
