BAILEY--At the home of his sister Mrs. Mary B. Jones, seven miles south of Longmont, Thursday, October 5, 1911, Elias Bailey, aged 67 years.
Elias Bailey was born in Ohio, October 14, 1844; moved to Iowa, where he lived till 1862, when he came to Colorado with an ox team and has lived in Boulder Valley most of the time.  He was the son of the late John C. Bailey who passed away about two years ago, and brother of Joseph R. Bailey, a family of pioneers, well known throughout the country.
The deceased leaves in addition to the brother above mentioned, four sisters, Mrs. M. P. Smith of Oregon, Mrs. Mary B. Jones of Longmont, Mrs. W. T. Perryam of Wyoming, and Mrs. N. E. Varney of Denver.
