Spectator Killed in Plane Accident
Fairply, Colo.--Will Oakley of Breckenridge was instantly killed here when an airplane piloted by George C. Marbut of Denver crashed to the ground only a few feet from a crowd of spectators, at the close of a demonstration flight, sending a volley of splinters from the broken propeller flying in all directions. Oakley was struck in the head by a large splinter of the propeller and he fell to the ground as though shot. Marbut and his passenger, Searie Dennis, suffered minor injuries.
