Johnson died at the home of Ed Johnson, west of Longmont, Feb. 17, 1905, aged 70 years, after an illness of ten days. Mr. Johnson was a native of Sweden, came to America when a young man, spent the greater part of his life in Colorado, and resided in this county thirty-five years. Mr. Johnson was a most earnest Christian and did much toward establishing the Swedish Lutheran Church west of Longmont which has now moved to town. Mr. Johnson was an uncle of Mrs. Miller and Chas. Johnson of Rinn, and made his home with them part of the time. He leaves many friends around Longmont that feel their life has been made better because of sweet Christian influence.
