DIED
KITELEY--In Denver, Sunday, August 30, 1908 of cancer, John Edward Kiteley, aged 31 years, 11 months, and 14 days
Again the mystery of life and death confronts us. Mr. Kiteley, though not prone to push himself to the front, was a young man greatly thought of in the community in which he lived, and many regret the fact that he has been called away. With the best of life apparently ahead of him, he is called to leave it. Why these things are so will never be answered this side of the great bygone.
Mr. Kiteley was born on the Kiteley home farm, Near Liberty Hall and grew up there. He graduated from the Agricultural College in 1896. Had charge of the dairy department of the college for one year and assistant chemist two years.
In 1899 he married Louella Barclay. He leaves this wife and one little daughter eight years of age.
The remains were sent to Longmont in care of M. G. Rice, Funeral Director, and services were hale at the Congregational church of which Mr. Kiteley was a member, conducted by Rev. J. W. Neely, assisted by Rev. Dr. Logren.
