Her disease was tuberculosis from which she had suffered for nearly seven years. Hoping to improve by a change in climate, she with her husband and son, went to California last September. For a time she improved but more recently failed and only lived ten days after reaching home. She was a member of the Methodist church and the Relief Corps. The large attendance at her funeral, held on Sunday testifies to the esteem in which she was held. In the absence of her pastor, Rev. C. J. Howell officiated at the services held at the Methodist church.
