Geo. Walker Killed in Auto Accident

George Walker was killed very suddenly about 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon on the North Fork road. He was running a Ford roadster about half a mile above the Welch resort, when his car skidded and went over the embankment pinning him under the car. He died in about ten minutes.
Mr. Walker was 25 years of age and made his home in Lyons. He was the son of Mrs. S. Walker of Lyons and formerly ran a ranch in Big Elk Park. It is said that the car turned over twice and landed right side up with Mr. Walker under it.
Frank Samuelson of Lyons was with him, who was injured in the back, but walked to Welch’s and the coroner was summoned.
Mr. Walker was unmarried, and an employe of the Transportation Company.
