Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado) Friday April 2, 1909 Page 1 DIED SABOE--At his home, adjoining Longmont to the northwest, Tuesday, March 30, 1909 of asthma, Gunder L. Saboe, aged 56 years, 5 months and 29 days. Mr. Saboe was born in Norway and came to America when he was sixteen years of age, living as a pioneer in Minnesota. He came to Colorado with his family one and one half years ago on account of his health. He leaves nine children, five sons and four daughters, all of them being present in Longmont when he died. Those who came from out of town were Mrs. H.H. Onstad and two children from Dawson, Minn., Mrs. Thos. Canton, and two children from South Dakota, and Martin Saboe from Cabanas, Cuba and John A. Saboe from Washington. Funeral services will be held from the Lutheran church Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
