DIED
TOBEY-- At the home of his parents near Altona, June 4, 1902, of heart trouble, Clyde, only son of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Tobey, aged thirteen years and fourteen days.
Death in any form and at any time is sad, but especially does the sympathy of the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Go out to them in this, their great bereavement. Clyde was a bright boy, intelligent; and manly beyond his years, and gave great promise as he stood upon the threshold of life, but “God’s finger touched him and he sleeps.”, while we have but the blessed memory of his life and the assurance that he is at rest from his suffering. Funeral services were conducted at the home on Thursday, by Mr. Brownell of Hygiene. Interment took place in the Jamestown cemetery where the flowers and sweet music provided by the friends and schoolmates, showed the love they felt for their little friend.
