BASHOR, Mrs. Elizabeth

I am not related to this family… Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado) Jan 18, 1897 Page 3 DIED BAHOR--AT Hygiene, June 15th, 1897, of paralysis, Mrs. Elizabeth Bashor, aged 77 years, 1 month and 28 days. Mrs. Bashor was born in Washington Co., East Tennessee, and came to Colorado fifteen and a half years ago. She was the mother of ten children, all having grown to maturity but one. Six are still living, five sons and one daughter, one of the sons being in California, the rest are residents of Colorado. She lost her husband three years ago. She was visiting with her daughter Mrs. Susie Knoll when she passed away. The remains were taken to Hygiene where the funeral services were held at 10 o’clock a. m. Wednesday, conducted by Rev. Andy Snowberger, assisted by Rev. J.W. Zimmerman and Rev. Mr. Whistler. There was a large attendance of sympathizing friends. Thus has passed away from the midst of her relatives and friends, another old settler, a “mother in Isreal”, whose influence will be left among those she leaves, for many years to come.
