Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado) Dec 18, 1908 Page 7 DIED CARMEAN--At his home in Longmont, Sunday, December 13, 1908, of general debility, John S. Carmean, aged 78 years, 4 months and 2 days. Mr. Carmean was born in Ohio, came to Colorado some years ago, went to Texas but again came to Colorado, making his home in Longmont. He has been failing quite perceptibly as the last few years were added to his life. He leaves two sons, Lester Carmean of Longmont, Byard Carmean of Boulder, and two daughters, Mrs. Frank Hartman and Mrs. W. O. Romigh. Funeral services were held at M. G. Rice’s undertaking parlor conducted by Rev. Dr. Robertson, the Masons turning out in a body and taking charge at the grave.
