Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado) Nov 3, 1899 Page 3 DIED HARMON--Near Longmont, Monday, October 30, 1899, of paralysis of the heart, Bazzle Harmon, aged 70 years and 22 days. Mr. Harmon’s death was very sudden, for he was sick about an half an hour. He was an esteemed member of the Christian church and though he had lived the three score years and ten, supposed to be the time allotted to man, his friends will regret to learn of his death. Communicate: Bazzle Harmon was born in Carrol county, Ohio, Oct 3, 1829, was married to Sarah Palmer, Feb 5, 1853. He removed from Ohio to Wayne county, Illinois, in 1860, and abent 10 years ago, came with his family to Colorado. He was a member of the Christian church for 38 years and lived a consistent christian life up to the time of his death. He died near Longmont, Oct. 30, 1899, aged 70 years and 22 days, leaving an aged wife and seven children, three sons and four daughters. One daughter (Mrs. Ben Williams being the only one his children living near him when he died. The remains were shipped to Denver Tuesday afternoon, the funeral service taking place from the residence of his son Clinton Harmon, on Wednesday Nov 1st. Interment at Fairmount.
