Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado) Jan 29, 1904 Page 1 DIED. OFFERMAN--In Longmont, Tuesday, Jan 26, 1904, of pneumonia, Ed Offerman, aged about 45 years. Mr. Offerman was connected with the saloon of Mr. Arthur at North Longmont, and had an attack of pneumonia. Believing he would receive better care at the Longmont hospital, K. R. Golden’s hack was sent for and Mr. Offermann placed in it, but he died before the hospital was reached, and was taken to E. G. Jone’s undertaking rooms. As he had no relatives here, telegrams were sent to New York, where some of his folks lived, and orders were received to bury him here. A little money was found on his person, but not enough for an ordinary interment.
