DIED.

MATHEWS--In Denver, Friday, March 2, 1906, Alphonzo Jerome Mathews, aged 62 years.  Cause, gravel.
Mr. Mathews was well known in Longmont, as he came here in 1878. Has been a sufferer with gravel for twenty-five years.  He was recently taken to St. Joseph’s hospital, Denver, for an operation, but did not survive long after it.  He was born in Rushville, Ill., and leaves one son who lives in Denver, his father A. S. Mathews and brothers A. A. and John, living in Longmont.
