Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado) March 16, 1906 Page 5 DIED Ahlin--In Longmont, Friday, March 9, 1906, of tuberculosis, Mrs. Laura Cornelia, wife of Rev. J. F. Ahlin, aged 42 years, 9 months and 26 days. Funeral services were held at the Swedish Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon. The flowers sent were in great abundance and very beautiful. The flower wagon of F. R. Shaw & Co., was used to take a part of them, other were carried personally. Some forms were “Gates Ajar” from the Congregation at Longmont, “Anebar” from the Young People Society, “Anebar, Cross and Crown” from the Boulder Congregation, which shows how greatly she was loved by those who knew her. The remains were sent to Fairfield, Jefferson, Co., Iowa, accompanied by Mr. Ahlin and a brother of the deceased.
