LAWYER--In Longmont, Monday, March 6, 1923, Mrs. Mary M. Lawyer, aged 79 years, 11 months and 22 days.
Miss Mary M. Nethaway was born March 17, 1843, at Wilmurt, New York and came to Colorado about forty-five years ago.  She was married to Mr. Lawyer, who passed away twelve years ago last December.
Mr. and Mrs. Layer made their home in Denver for forty years, and about three and a half years ago Mrs. Lawyer came to Longmont, to make her home with her nephew, W. H. Nethaway and wife.
She joined the First Congressional Church, attending the services the week before her death.
Mr. Nethaway is the only surviving relative in Colorado.  There are a number of distant relatives in New York.
Interment was made in Denver.
