NELSON--Southwest of Longmont, Tuesday, February 2, 1909, of Brights disease, Wan John Nelson, aged 71 years, 6 months and 12 days.
Mr. Nelson was born in Sweden, July 20, 1837.  He came to America in 1867, living in Illinois the first seven years, and then came to Colorado in 1874, and settle three and a half miles west of Longmont, where he has lived most of the time since.
Mr. Nelson leaves a widow, a son and two daughters, besides two brothers, August and Louis.
Funeral services will he held at Rice’s undertaking parlors at 10 o’clock Saturday morning and the interment will take place at the Swedish cemetery near Ryssby.
