DEATH OF ALVA ADAMS

Ex-Governor Alva Adams died Wednesday noon at Battle Creek, Mich., of heart disease.
Mr. Adams was elected governor of Colorado in 187-1897 and 1905.  For many years he was one of the leading Democrats of the state.  He was an able man and stood high in all circles, whether political or otherwise.
