HAMMOND--In Longmont, Thursday, September 6, 1923, Mrs. Margaret R. Hammond, aged 79 and 9 days.
Mrs. Hammond was born August 27, 1844, in Benevota, Maryland.
In 1903 Mr. and Mrs. Hammond came to Colorado to make their home locating near Rinn.  Mr. Hammond passed away in 1916, after which Mrs. Hammond made her home with her daughter, Miss Jeanette, at 513 Coffman.
Mrs. Hammond is survived by three sons, Lewis of Powell, Wyo., Clayton of Pennsylvania, George of Chicago; and five daughters; Mrs. W. E. Fisher of Roanoke, VA; Mrs. J. N. C. Jones of Longmont; Mrs. C. F. Johnson of Lovell, Wyo.; Mrs. Ralph Millice of Billings and Miss Jeanette Hammond of Longmont.
