Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado) Nov 14, 1902 Died. PERHAM--At Castle Rock, Color, Nov 10, 1902, of old age, Samuel Perham. This information comes to the Ledger from his son-in-law, Dick Ransom (B0x 264, Denver) formerly a Longmont resident. Mr. Perham was past 80 years of age, was born in Trumbull county, Ohio, was a long resident of Warren and vicinity, Jo Daviess Co, Ill., where Mr. Ransom married his oldest daughter in 1866. Mr Perham afterwards removed to Iowa, thence to Washington Territory and Oregon, and finally settled for life at Franktown, near Castle Rock dependent upon a government pension secured to him through the efforts of Mr. Ransom. There are a number of Longmont and Colorado people who knew Mr. Perham well in former days.
