MOORE, Mrs. Elizabeth Mills

Cronkhite, in Greeley, September 21, Mrs. Elizabeth Moore Mills, aged 72 years 11 days. Elizabeth Moore was born in New York state, but when three years of age her parents removed to Ohio. Later they settled near Chicago, where in 1853 she was married to T. S. Mills, who survives her. A son, Henry A. Mills of Diamond Lake, Ill., and a daughter, Mrs. W. R. Cronkhite, at whose home she spent her later days, together with the aged husband are left to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and loving mother. Grandma Mills had been an invalid for the past eight years much of that time having been confined to her bed. She was always a devoted Christian, having been a consistent member of the Baptist church. The remains were sent east for burial Wednesday evening, September 24, accompanied by the family, the interment to take place near the old home in Diamond Lake, Ill.
