LONGMONT TIMES-CALL Monday March 14, 1938 PNEUMONIA IS FATAL SUNDAY FOR F.D. BAIRD Frank D. Baird, 70 year old retired Longmont farmer, died Sunday Evening following an attack of puemonia. He was born in Jackson county, Missouri, Sept 11, 1907 and came to Colorado in 1908. He moved here from Canon City in 1908. The deceased held a membership in the Presbyterian church of Longmont and the Modern Woodmen of America. Surviving relatives include his widow Mrs. Emma Baird, Longmont; two sons, Hansel, Phoenix and Frank R. Longmont; one daughter, Mrs.E.H Georges, Westcliffe,Colorado; three brothers, Leslie and Carol of Independence Missouri and Arch, Sterling, Colorado; two sisters, Miss Leola Baird, Independence, and Mrs. Ida Compton, Los Angeles, California. Funeral services will be held Wednesday after at 2:30 o'clock from the Probs Funeral home, Rev C.E. Wilson officiating. Burial will be made in the Mountain View Cemetery.
