LONGMONT TIMES September 5, 1945 DEATH CLAIMS MORRIS BAIRD Morris E. Baird, 64 years old, died at his home, 510 Terry Street, Wednesday morning following an illness of about six months. Mr. Baird was born at Cantril, Iowa, Sept 3, 1881 and came to Longmont in June, 1928. He was a Methodist church adherent. The deceased is survived by his wife, Katie Baird, Longmont and one daughter, Gladys Baird, Denver. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Prohs Funeral home, the Rev M. L. Jackson officiating. Burial will be made in Mountain View Cemetery. (Note: Morris is buried along side his wife Kate: Block 47, Lot 50) Morris's brother Lemuel and sister Josephine Nichols are also both buried at Mountain View Cemetery.)
