12/31/2009 1 Kendra Renae Clifton, 21, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, in an Ogden, Utah, hospital surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 5, 1988, in Leadville to Scott Clifton and Tracy Hall. She attended school in Leadville, Canon City and Utah. She moved to Roy, Utah, when she was 14 and lived with her special uncle and aunt, Jeff and Jessica (Clifton) Steele. Clifton graduated from Roy High School in May 2007. She attended Weber State and later transferred to Stevens-Henager College where she was studying to be a nurse. She is survived by her father Scott (Kim, her "bonus mom") Clifton, Canon City; her mother Tracy (Gary) Shelton, Grand Junction; brother Matthew and sister Makaela, Canon City, and brother Tyler Murphy, Denver. Grandparents include Bea Hall (Moses), Mary (Max) Duarte, Steve (Judy) Clifton, Lamont Hall and Jerry and Cathy Cerise. Her great- grandmother, Romona Hall, also survives her. She is also survived by her aunt Jennifer (Dennis Alps) Duarte of Brighton, and uncles Lynn, Monty (Cassandra) and Keith Hall and Brian (Kathryn) Cerise. Many cousins, nieces, nephews and devoted friends in Colorado and Utah also remain.
