Robert L. "Skip" Wilden August 20, 1961 - August 6, 2009 Robert L. "Skip" Wilden, of Grand Junction, CO died Thursday, August 6, 2009. He was 47 years of age. A memorial service was held Monday, August 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Burial will take place in Cortez Cemetery in Cortez, CO. Robert was born August 20, 1961 at Craig, CO to Alan Leroy Chris and Sharon Kay Farris Wilden. He spent his childhood in Craig and Cortez, graduating from high school and lived in Grand Junction for the past eight years. He worked as a tire technician. Robert was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed four-wheeling and riding motorcycles. Survivors include a son, Raymond Louis Wilden of Tooele, UT; two sisters, Dennise R. Schmaltz of Anchorage, AK and Dennette R. Girodo of Durango, CO and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his biological father, Alan Leroy Chris; his father and mother, Robert R. and Sharon K.
