Obituary Montrose Daily Press, Montrose, CO 2 Dec 2004 Benton W. Ayers PARADOX - Benton W. Ayers, age 68, of Paradox, Colo., died Monday morning, Nov. 29, 2004, at his home in Paradox. Benton, the son of Otho S. and Wanda (Starbuck) Ayers, was born on Nov. 5, 1936, in Nucla, Colo. He served his country in the United States Navy. Benton married LIVING Steele. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. His family would like to extend their thanks to all the friends and neighbors who have done so much for them during Benton's illness and at this time of loss. Survivors include his wife, LIVING Ayers, of Paradox; three sons: LIVING, LIVING and LIVING Ayers; one daughter, LIVING Ayers; eight grandchildren: LIVING and LIVING Chacon; LIVING, LIVING, LIVING, LIVING, LIVING and LIVING Ayers; one great-granddaughter, LIVING Chacon; and one sister, LIVING Smith. Benton was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Wanda Ayers. A funeral service will be officiated by President Reed Hayes on Thursday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Paradox. Interment will follow the service in the Paradox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Paradox Ambulance Fund, In Memory of Benton Ayers, Paradox, CO 81429.
