Bell departed this life at her home in Lone Tree, seven miles northeast of Greeley. She was the wife of David Bell, and had for several months been a sufferer from cancer. She had a large circle of acquaintances and was beloved by all who knew her. Mrs. Bell was born in Edinboro, Scotland, September 14, 1854. In 1871 she became the wife of David Bell, and shortly after, the couple came to America. They first settled in Canada, but in 1872 came to Colorado, and have ever since resided near Greeley. A husband and three children survive Mrs. Bell. The children are Mrs. Agnes F. Russell, Mrs. Jennie E. Darling and David Ball, Jr. The funeral services were conducted at the late residence of the deceased, by Rev. John G. Reid, last Sunday afternoon. The remains were followed to their last resting place by a large cortege of friends.
