Greeley Tribune (Greeley, Weld County); Date: Sept 1, 1898 Page 8 CLEMENTS-- In Greeley, Wednesday night, Aug. 24, 1898, Mrs. Jane Clements, of general debility, aged 82 an d 6 months. Funeral was held at the residence of her grandson at 10 o’clock Friday morning, the Rev. Arthur S. Phelps of the Baptist church officiating, and the remains were interred at Linn Grove. Mrs. Clements was born in Baltimore February 22, 1816, and was fine representative of the American of early days. About three years ago she came to Greeley with her grandson, C. H. Libby.
