PALMER, C.D.

Greeley Tribune (Greeley, Weld County) Nov 6, 1902 Page 3 C.D. Palmer Tuesday night C.D. Palmer died at the residence of his wife’s parents, Professor and Mrs. Whiteman. The cause of death baffled the attending physicians and a post-mordem was held yesterday, which developed cancer of the intestines. The funeral will be held from the home of Professor and Mrs. Whiteman tomorrow afternoon, the Rev O.A. Petty officiating. Mr. Palmer was a resident of Denver and about two years ago he led Louise Whiteman to the altar. Their life was one of love and affection, and his sudden death has cast a gloom over a once happy home. He traveled out of Denver for Donaldson & Howard, Pinkett Bros. and the Omaha Packing company. He was a general favorite with his brothers of the road, being a man of good nature, ever courteous and agreeable. The wife and baby daughter are left to mourn the taking away of a kind and loving husband and an affectionate father. (He is buried in the Linn Grove Cemetery)
