Greeley Tribune (Greeley, Weld County) Date: Oct 23, 1902 Page 3 James Lycan Sunday James Lycan, one of Plattevile’s pioneers, passed away at his home in that town, infirmities incidental to old age being the cause of death. His funeral was held Monday and largely attended for he was a man of worth and character. The Rev. Beardsley of Denver and the Revs. Dunn and Stanton officiated at the last sad rites.
