Greeley Tribune (Greeley, Weld county) Date: Sep 4, 1902 Page 3 Frank O Wilson Saturday evening the sad news of the death of Frank O Wilson became known and it was received with sorrow by a majority of Greeley’s citizens, for a good, true man had answered the last summons. Frank O. Wilson was born in Flint, Mich., June 26, 1872. In after years he moved with his family to Wisconsin and July 27, 1894 he and Maude Markle of Clinton, Wis, were united in marriage. March 26, 1900, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson came to Greeley and he soon became known as an expert architect and a competent builder and soon he many contracts to erect dwellings and other buildings. Being a young man of integrity and push, he rapidly forged to the front in business circles, while he and wife soon established themselves in social circles by their genial ways and hospitable manner. His mother did not arrive from her home, Beaver Dam Wis., till after his death and she is heartbroken at the loss of a dutiful and living son. The funeral was held from the home place Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Dr. Vincet officiating and the earthly remains of Frank O. Wilson, escorted by the Y.M.C.A hose team, of which he was a member, were consigned to Linn Grove.
