The wife of the deceased died twenty-five years ago, passing away in 1892 at the age of twenty-eight years. Four boys were born to this union, two of whom died in infancy and two survive, John D. and Edward D. Funeral services were held Satur- day afternoon at the Hoskings mor- tuary, and were conducted by Rev. Louis E. Goodwin. A large number of friends attended the last sad rites. The remains were shipped to Golden, Colorado, where the body was inter- red beside the members of the family who preceeded him to the great beyond."
