Colorado Transcript (Golden, Jefferson County) February 26, 1920 Page 9 "Obituary Mrs. Lottie Wallick Thode, was born at Ambia, Indiana, Dec. 25, 1882, and died Feb. 15th, 1920. She graduated from Wheat Ridge high school with the class of 1904 and taught school for three years, when she married Amandus H. Thode, Aug. 21, 1907. To this union was born six children, one of which died in infancy, a little over a year and a half before her. She united with the Fruitdale Baptist church in 1905 and transferred her membership to the Betheden Baptist church of Den- ver shortly after her marriage, as the family resided in Denver until the last four years, which was spent three miles west of Arvada, on Gol- den R. F. D. No. 2. She was the daughter of W. H. and Lizzie Lath- am Wallick of Wheat Ridge, Colo. She is survived by her husband and five children, her parents, two brothers and two sisters, besides other relatives more distant, and many friends who mourn her loss."
