WILLIAMS, David Harrison

 ***Obituary, Garfield County Democrat, 15 Oct 1909***
As we go to press we learn of the death of "Uncle" Dave Williams, a pioneer ranchman of Garfield creek which occurred last evening about six o'clock.  He had recently returned from a hunting trip and while out had caught cold, which showed symptoms of pneumonia, and last evening while walking to the house he fell over and expired before aid could reach him.  He was sixty-seven years old and leaves a daughter and older brother, Seth to mourn his loss.  The funeral will be held here next Sunday.
