[1917 Apr 17 Gilpin Observer, Central City, CO] DEATH OF ROBERT DAWSON ——— Robert Dawson, a well known resident of Black Hawk, died very unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon of heart trouble, within an hour of arriving from the Beaver in Boulder county. He had been ill a day or two and returned to Black Hawk to rest and recuperate. He was a native of Scotland and had no family connections in this country. He was 55 years of age and came to Gilpin county from Georgetown in 1893, and had made his residence here ever since with the exception of a short time he spent in Boulder county. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the local chapel. Interment in Dory hill cemetery.
