William F. Smith
Funeral services for William F. Smith, retired secretary of the Woodmen of the World, will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Moore Mortuary. Burial will be in Crown Hill.
Mr. Smith, who lived at 517 Cook st., died Tuesday in St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness. He was 84.
Born March 3, 1882 in Colorado, he was the son of a pioneer homesteader family. He married Miss Charlotte Weener in 1910 in Denver. Mrs. Smith died in 1963. He worked for many years at the Head Camp Office of the Woodmen of the World. Mr. Smith was a member of Woodmen of the World, and Denver Lodge No. 5, AF&AM.
Surviving are a son, William F. Smith, Jr, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and two brothers, Henry Smith and Carl Smith, both of Denver.
