FRANK EBERHARDT [1903 June 4 Gilpin Observer] Gilpin County, Colorado Last Friday while Frank Eberhardt was leaving down some cars at the Phoenix Burroughs mine in Nevada[ville], the cars got beyond his control and running down the track, he was caught between the dirt chute and the car. He was crushed very badly about the hips and legs, and received a good many bruises. Dr. Bourk was called who relieved him as best he could, but Eberhardt was injured to such a serious extent that he died this morning at 4 o'clock. He leaves a wife and two children.
