KOENIG, Florence Amictonio

Florence (Dell) Amictonio Koenig, 88 of Cañon City, died Dec. 13, 2006, in Cañon City. She was born Sept. 26, 1918, in Cañon City, to the late Calvin B. and Sarah Merle (Keller) Dell. She was a lifelong resident of Cañon City, working as a waitress at the Ranch House for 20 years and eight years at Mr. Ed's. She was a past member of the Rebekah's Lodge of Cañon City. Survivors are one sister, Lena "Lee" (Bill) Szlapka of Cañon City; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Amictonio; four brothers, Elton Dell, Ted Dell and his wife Georgia, Floyd "Delbert" Dell, Glen Dell and his wife Sonja; and one sister, Dorothy Mae Caputo and her husband Charlie. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Dec. 21, 2006, at Holt Chapel of the Garden. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Reverend Jack Crosby officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Cañon City. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements handled through Holt Family Funeral Home, Cañon City.
