William K. [Bill]
William K. (Bill) Holton died Dec. 24, 2006, at the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M.
He was born Feb. 20, 1959, in Salida.
Mr. Holton had faith in God and unconditional love for his family and friends. He loved the outdoors and loved to fish.
He served his country in the U.S. Army and worked for the Bureau of Land Management and at the Climax mine during his lifetime.
Mr. Holton will live in the hearts of those who love him. One of his final wishes was that others could learn from his passing the effects of alcoholism on the human body.
Survivors are his parents, Bill and Patricia Holton of Salida; sister, Vicki (George) Bousquet of Bastrop, Texas; brothers, Robert of Salida and Tom (Roni) Holton of Centennial; two children, Kristi and Billy of Denver; special friend, Anna Crumpton and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Edward and Mary Bradbury; paternal grandparents, Scott Holton and Jolene Wheeler and granddaughter, Janelle.
Mr. Holton will be buried between his great uncle, Bill Linton and great aunt, Bertha Linton at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Buena Vista.
A private family memorial will be held in late spring.
