Raymond Street
Raymond Street Reigner of Leadville passed away Oct. 8 due to a recent diagnosis of cancer.
He was an active resident of Leadville for seven years and owner of Snow Country Appliance. He was a past president and officer of the Leadville Eagles Lodge, a member of the Leadville Elks Lodge, Copper Mountain Slope Watch and National Rifle Association. He was an avid skier and loved camping, biking, hunting, rafting and collecting guns.
Reigner attended MIT and Georgia Tech, worked for Factory Mutual Insurance and retired from Kemper Insurance, both in Atlanta, Ga.
He is survived by his wife Sandra; mother Donna of Atlanta; daughter Taschia (Victor) Salas and granddaughter Acacia of Leadville; step-son Michael (Nicole) Weksler and grandson Travis of Portland, Ore.; brothers Tom (Peggy) and Roger (Karen) of Atlanta, Ga., Ron of Carrollton, Ga., and Don (Dori) of Baltimore, Md.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Street.
Memorial service will be held at the Leadville Eagles Lodge, Saturday, Oct. 14, at noon.
